Vision: Why 403 Conference?
Every Youth Pastor has asked at one point “how can our church have a greater impact for the Kingdom in our Jr. High and Sr. High schools?” Unfortunately, many have stopped asking altogether as it proves to be a challenging task.
However, we believe it is possible for local church youth ministries to have a significant Gospel-advancing impact and the major key to realizing that goal is unity.
Jesus says “20 My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.” (John 17:20-23).
Often people, methodology & theology have separated churches from partnering together and becoming unified for the one cause of reaching the world with the Good News of Jesus. We, as the 403 Network, have a strong desire to lay aside our differences and respond to the prayer of Jesus. Our desire is to unite youth groups from around Calgary with the purpose of better advancing the mission of Jesus in our Jr. High & Sr. High Schools.
Here’s really what we are talking about…
Vision: To empower & equip students (grades 6-12) to take the Good News of Jesus Christ and share it with their schools.
Mission: To see students who do not know Christ to come to know Him and begin a life-long relationship with Him.
